This traditional variety with semi-long and cylindrical roots can be grown précocémment and keeps well in winter. Easy to succeed, it gives carrots to délicacte flavor.
1. Sowing: Sow on April in pots under cover or in open ground in May, in rows 25 cm in sunny exposure.
2. Thinning: As soon as the seedlings have 4-5 leaves, pull the smaller just to let that every 15 cm.
3. Harvest: Harvest from August to October.
Carrots love the proximity of onions, shallots or leeks that have a protective action against harmful insects.
